Hello, my name is Cassie Moyer, I have 12 years of experience as a professional wedding/event, adventure, family, and senior portrait photographer. Formerly known as Cassie Clarkson Photography LLC.
As a photographer based in the breathtaking Hocking Hills, Ohio I specialize in creating timeless memories amidst nature's most enchanting backdrops. I offer personalized attention in order to capture your unique story. I have expert knowledge of the most scenic Hocking Hills locations. I offer a blend of candid moments and artfully composed portraits, and I am committed to making you feel relaxed and radiant in front of the camera.

I am a proud wife & mother (of humans, cats, and dogs). We adore our quiet little life here in the Hocking Hills and enjoy daily hikes.

Lighting: Two Nikon Speedlights SB-700, and 5 additional speedlights. I also have mobile studio lighting from Paul C Buff. 8 strobe lights in total, 2 Einsteins and 6 alien bees. For light modification I have umbrellas, soft boxes, grids, beauty dishes, snoots, barn doors, and gels. I have two vagabond mini mobile battery packs with four outlets to power all my strobes.

I have been working and volunteering in animal rescue for nearly two decades; since 2004. I have been either an employee, intern, or volunteer for the Fairfield Area Humane Society, The Franklin County Dog Shelter, The Muskingum County Dog Shelter and countless small/private rescue organizations. I have volunteered both as a Registered Veterinary Technician (my profession prior to starting my business) and a photographer promoting adoptions.
I am also proud to support exotic animal rescue, rehabilitation, education, and conservation efforts through a USDA licensed program called Paws and Claws Animal Encounters.
I proudly serve on the advisory committee and am an official sponsor for the inspiHER Girls Leadership Foundation for Hocking County. inspiHER Girls Leadership Foundation | Ohio (inspiherfoundation.com) . Our vision is to support and empower inspiHER girls to dream big, believe in themselves, and to become confident leaders in their schools and communities. Our program model includes full-day interactive leadership retreats designed specifically for girls in grades 5 - 8 focusing on five core areas: leadership, confidence, resilience, self-care, and community service.
In September 2024, Hocking Hills Portraits was selected as a 2024 finalist for BBB Torch Awards for Ethics! The BBB Torch Awards for Ethics is an annual celebration to honor exceptional businesses and nonprofits in the community. The Torch Awards recognizes local organizations' outstanding ethical practices and commitment to character, culture, customers, and community. Hocking Hills Portraits was recognized as a finalist on November 13, 2024 at the Bluestone during the Toast to Trusted Leaders Celebration.
In September of 2024, our photographer Cassie Moyer was interviewed by James Martin, Community Communications Director for the Hocking Hills Tourism Association.
