Exotic Animal Encounter Photoshoots

Hocking Hills Portraits has partnered with PAWS & CLAWS Animal Encounters to bring this most unique portrait experience. 

Our photographer, Cassie will attend your private animal encounter experience at PAWS & CLAWS and expertly capture it as it unfolds.

 PAWS & CLAWS has a variety of well socialized exotic animals that you can encounter, interact with, pet, hold, and feed.   

 Otters, Sloth, Capybaras, Coatimundi, Wallaby, Kangaroo, Porcupine, Opossum, Raccoon, Skunk, Camel, Tortoise, Armadillo, Owl, & Foxes are the most popular for photoshoots. Your one-hour private encounter includes up to 3 species of your choice to have photos with. You are also permitted access to the farm to see the other animals on site during your visit.

we only offer these very special shoots on their farm for the safety and wellbeing of the animals.  Both indoor/climate controlled and outdoor options are available for photos.

Hocking Hills Portraits and PAWS & CLAWS Animal Encounters are two independent services that partner to offer this unique experience.  The total investment for this experience is $900; below I have broken down these fees for you:  

PAWS & CLAWS FEES

Private Encounters for photoshoots are $400. There is no limit to the number of people who attend your shoot.  Photoshoots are one hour in duration and includes 3 species of animals.  You may add the sloth to the photoshoot encounter for an additional $100, and this will extend your session time an additional 20 minutes and does not count toward your 3 species.

HOCKING HILLS PORTRAITS FEES

Photoshoot -$500

Includes authentic, photojournalistic-style portraits of your one-hour encounter experience.  We gently guide you in posing so that you look your best.  Basic retouching (blemish and bruise removal) is included.  These sessions are conducted outdoors on the grounds of PAWS & CLAWS.  You will receive an online gallery of your session that will provide you with 24/7 access to your cherished images, allowing you to share, download, or order printed keepsakes to cherish for years to come.    

When do we pay?

100% of the photography portion is due at the time of booking as a deposit.  

You pay PAWS & CLAWS separately the day of your encounter at their facility via check, cash, venmo, or credit card.

  Your support helps wildlife and exotic animal rehabilitation & rescue through a USDA licensed facility.  Thank you!
